Liferay 6.0 CE to 6.2 EE Migration for a national US auto parts retail chain
In this project, XTIVIA helped a customer that was on an older Liferay CE edition and evaluating a potential move to Drupal, understand the advantages of the Liferay platform and the Liferay EE subscription, and migrate to Liferay 6.2 EE. XTIVIA performed an assessment of the client’s existing Liferay implementation and determined that the largest component of the migration effort would be content migration and making the sites completely responsive. We used the assessment to come up with a detailed migration plan and then executed against the plan, helping the client go live with Liferay v6.2 and making two of their largest sites fully responsive, all in a matter of 6 weeks.
