The Need
Our client, a global Fortune 50 technology giant, needed to completely reinvent their global partner portal using Liferay. Existing business and IT teams worked feverishly around the clock and in all timezones without making the progress they expected to meet their deadlines. They needed a Liferay partner with a proven track record of successful Liferay implementations and a can do attitude that would drive a successful initiative.

XTIVIA came into the project that had already been underway for 10 months. We took over the content delivery, user experience development, and search aspects in order to deliver a unified experience for all partners. The engagement started with an overall assessment of the current implementation where we provided recommendations at all project levels from strategy to implementation.
From a technical perspective, XTIVIA provided guidance in the modification of Liferay portal using hooks, extensions, and new portlets. Throughout the delivery on this project we developed functional designs, technical designs, training materials, guided architecture and DevOps, and worked with many people around the world to successfully deliver a truly global partner portal.
