XTIVIA is currently recruiting an experienced Android Developer for a six month contracting project in Carrolton, TX. The ideal candidate will have front-end Android-specific expertise and will help increase overall user experience and stability, design practical solutions, and code, debug, test, and troubleshoot the application throughout the development process. The applicant will work with a team of full stack developers to design, develop, and launch a fully operational application.
WHAT YOU Bring
Responsibilities:
- Willing to go outside of the standard boundaries of a standard Android Developer and work on unique projects such as a custom lock screen and custom launcher
- Work together with a high-performing team in a collaborative manner
- Analyze business requirements
- Develop technical requirements and assist with interface specifications
- Write code to implement application solution
- Complete unit, functional, integration, and performance software testing
- Prepares software deployment packages for pre-production and production
- Provides technical support to client support teams
- Resolve critical production issues
- Conduct POC to implement proposed solution
- Focus on new development efforts starting from inception to successful deployment of 1st release in production
- Analyze business requirements
- Collaborate with other development teams, Architects, Project Management, Q/A, and Production Support to deliver cross-functional projects within existing architecture.
