Challenge

Our client acquired the Informatica Data Governance product suite, including Enterprise Data Catalog, Axon, and Informatica Data Quality, to establish a robust and operational Data Governance program. While their internal team initiated the configuration of these tools, they required specialized expertise to optimize and implement them effectively.

To address this need, the client partnered with XTIVIA to evaluate their current Informatica Data Governance implementation, provide strategic recommendations and industry best practices, and deliver mentorship for successfully implementing Informatica Data Quality from the ground up.

Technical Solution

XTIVIA worked closely with the client’s IT and Business teams and

• Reviewed client’s Data Governance documentation, implementation, and configuration settings and interviewed key stakeholders to understand the current-state implementation
• Reviewed data cataloging, data quality rules definition, business glossary definitions, column definitions, ownership definitions, and data classification
• Recommended the best practices for Informatica IDMC tool implementation
