Concordia Plan Services (CPS) is the benefits provider for Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod employers of over 6,000 Lutheran organi- zations, including schools, universities, congregations and other ministries worldwide. These benefits include health, disability and survivor plans, retirement and retirement savings plans. https://www.concordiaplans.org/

CHALLENGE

They required a Business Intelligence / Data Warehouse solution.

THE XTIVIA SOLUTION

With XTIVIA’s experienced track record of working with top data analytics and data warehouse providers, CPS and XTIVIA developed a comprehensive RFP matrix to help select the best solution aligned with CPS’ vision and needs. CPS selected long-time XTIVIA partner Information Builders, Inc (IBI) as their provider and XTIVIA as their outsourced data architects and developers. The IBI tools used in this project were WebFOCUS for analytics and iWay Data Migrator for ETL.

XTIVIA developed an Executive Analytics dashboard, optimized CPS’ dated Enrollment Eligibility process and began outlining a data governance model that will provide improved security and increased operating efficiencies. Specific phases of the project included: 1) FPE and Plan Participation dashboard, 2) Enrollment Eligibility, 3) Rosters and Statistics dashboards, 4) Compensation Phase II data extracts and 5) Initial Vendor dashboard.
