Having set out on the path to the Salesforce Advanced Developer Certification about 2 1/2 years ago, it was a huge relief when I finally got the “Success” result today! This certification is not an easy one (which is good since that makes it all the more meaningful). It is in 2 parts, a multiple choice exam and a programming assignment. The assignment is the tough part and requires a lot of care, especially to ensure the unit tests are covering all scenarios and that the solution makes optimal use of the Salesforce components. You can retake the assignment as often as needed BUT you can only submit it once a year.
